I Decided on the remington 700 SPS tacitcal .308 but need help on choosing decent scope with rings and base?

Hello all i recently decided on a remington 700 SPS tactical in .308 at wholesale sports, but im having a hard time choosing a good decent scope, im not into super long ranges, just 100-250 yards max, kinda close range target shooting and whitetail deer hunting thats it, my budget for a scope and the rings and base for it is 300 bucks, nothing fancy if anyone can point me in a direction, this is my first time setting up a scope on a rifle aswell. thanks
